~BANDUNG is best vacations~
Hi and assalamua'laikum
first off all, i want to share my experience while on vacation in Bandung in two years ago.you want to know how i feel to be there? Let's read.
The first time i arrived in Bandung,i was very surprised.for what? Bandung airport is packed with building not the same in Malaysia such as KLIA. After that, there is famous for traffic jams and has a population of over 8.6 million. it was very confusing for me. Whatever! what is important there are many places interesting in Bandung. See below...
- Trans Studio Bandung theme park is one of the world's largest indoor theme parks, consists of two floors and has 20 fantastic rides, divided into three zones: central studio, classic grandeur of Hollywood and New York style; Lost City, the land of adventurers the thirst challenges, and magic corner.
- Kawah Putih
Kawah Putih is located near the dusty market town of Ciwidey about 35 kilometres south of Bandung. Meaning “white crater” in Indonesian, the main attraction of Kawah Putih is the surreal turquoise coloured lake which fills this vast dormant volcanic crater. On sunny days, the colour of the lake is stark and bright and on cloudy days, the entire crater can be shrouded in mist making for an utterly eerie experience. The tree-clad cliffs surrounding the crater reach around 2,500 metres above sea level and make for a stunning backdrop, especially when those clouds start rolling in. Similarly, the altitude here brings with it chilly temperatures and a light sweater is a must, a thicker jacket preferable.
- Rumah Mode
Rumah Mode (pronounced moh-day) is regarded by many as the best factory outlet for shopping in Bandung. That's probably true, in terms of the variety and fashion, probably one of the best in Bandung but likely far from those elsewhere. Some brands spotted: H&M, Zara, Cotton On, Polo and a brand named Minimal which had some very nice things, but very expensive. Like at Bali Heaven Factory Outlet, we were a little wary of the authenticity and ended up buying very little. The kids selection was very wide though!
